Introduction

Ms. Peperkorn has a well-established studio in the Kenosha, Wisconsin area, drawing students from all of the major high schools in the area, college students, and adults. Some of her students have gone on in their studies at Northwestern University, Indiana University, UW-Milwaukee, UW-Madison, and many other prestigious vocal arts schools.

Kenosha Vocal Arts

Starting in 2006, Ms. Peperkorn established Kenosha Vocal Arts, a program in the Kenosha area to foster teaching and learning vocal arts from elementary level through collegiate level and beyond. Now in its second year, the program is thriving and will soon be seeking non-profit (501c3) status.

Opera ala Carte

In conjunction with KVA, in 2005 Ms. Peperkorn began Opera ala Carte. Opera ala Carte is a program geared especially toward high school students, with the goal of giving them stage exposure in performing some of the great works of the genre. The program is now in its third year, and has grown each year.
